For more than a decade, we have focused exclusively on maritime investments, combining backgrounds in investment banking, capital markets and family office investing with direct access to the maritime industry.

Philipp Leibundgut
Philipp Leibundgut is Chairman and co-owner of Briese Schiffahrt (Schweiz) AG.
With more than three decades of experience in banking, corporate finance, portfolio management and family-office investing, Philipp has built a career focused on evaluating and managing long-term investments.
Prior to entering the maritime sector, Philipp held senior roles in banking, corporate finance and real estate investing. He began investing in maritime assets in 2015 and has since developed extensive experience across vessel investments and fleet development.
As a co-founder of Briese Schiffahrt (Schweiz) AG and a long-term investor in maritime assets, he remains closely aligned with the interests of investors.
Mechanics, engines and technical systems have fascinated Philipp since childhood. He regularly visits vessels and shipyards to stay close to the assets and the industry. More often than not, he can be found in the engine room, getting his hands dirty and exploring the technical side of modern shipping.
Together with the Swiss investment team, he helps investors better understand the opportunities and complexities of maritime investments.
Patric Käser
Patric Käser is Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Briese Schiffahrt (Schweiz) AG.
With more than three decades of experience in finance, capital markets and business leadership, Patric has spent his career working with entrepreneurs, companies and institutional clients.
A long-standing member of the Business Administration Commission of SPEDLOGSWISS, he developed a particular interest in the transport and logistics sector before co-founding Briese Schiffahrt (Schweiz) AG together with Philipp Leibundgut.
As a co-founder of Briese Schiffahrt (Schweiz) AG and a long-term investor in maritime assets, he remains committed to helping investors better understand this specialised asset class.
Patric takes every opportunity to visit vessels in operation and under construction to gain first-hand insights into the assets and the industry. His long-standing fascination with technology and digital innovation often leads him to the vessel's bridge, where maritime operations meet modern technology.
By combining financial expertise with practical industry knowledge, he helps bridge the gap between investors and the maritime industry.
